I don't like the song. I think it's a terrible song. Not only is it just another cheesy Flo Rida trash, it's not even catchy or anything, I almots fell asleep. Now that that is said, take it into account for my review.

The first thing that comes to mind is the bad flow of the chart. I've noticed that in most of your charts. You do something different every 2 measures and really, it's kind of amateur and annoying. So try to work on establishing a nice flow with constant patterns while still having some variety; but well used variety.

Less mines.

Less slowdowns.

I don't know what else to say

5/10

Don't take it too personal though, I doubt there's anything good that can be made to that song.

Yea im not taking it personal cause i know it's a really good chart. I do things that very few step artists do which is combine melodies so the person playing the chart can really feel the different parts of the song as they combine together. Everyone loves to play straightforward songs that go perfectly with one beat which are boring and generic. I would then understand why you say this chart has no flow from the previous sentence. This chart is extremely fun and I would recommend it from average-top players. I didn't ask for a review because I already know this is an amazing and fun chart and if you want you can continue to say otherwise while I play it over and over again in the arcade tonight because i just can't get enough of it. Oh and i just wanna say before i go to queensway

-Immense knowledge of music and music theory
-Can play many instruments
-Received proficiency award in Gr 12. band
-Took lessons for Instruments I had not played yet
-Played in various jazz bands, orchestra's, and jazz clubs
-Went to band camp for a couple years
-I have listened to this song over 100 times
-I have stepped Flo Rida songs before
-My charts are picked a lot in tournaments
-I have watched many different choreo's to this song to get many creative perspectives
-Edited the chart many times
-Tested on pad before released

So don't talk to me about flow because I have more musical knowledge and talent then anyone overall in the entire ITG community and i have created 100's of charts. Here's a little basic music theory for you. I mainly used 1122 and 1212 patterns for about 75% of the song but there is also a couple spots that use 1111 patterns for a few measures. They were just so well placed you didn't even realize it.

i like most of steves charts and i think a lot of other people do aswell. don't care much for the song choice here, but considering i've played/really enjoyed/repeated playing several of his charts, i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and check it out! if it's not enjoyable enough to make up for, in my opinion, a lackluster song, i will probably delete it and forget about it!

Lol, you took it a hundred times more seriously than I even expected you to. Whatever man, it's not a good file in my opinion, and I think for probably a large portion of players as well. Sorry. You really have an inferiority complex and it makes me uncomfortable when I try to give you constructive criticism. So I guess I'll just say nice job.

I like how you say "I don't want/need criticism because I know this is AMAZING". Yeah, you're not gonna get anywhere with that.

You just also made me realize how incredibly full of yourself you are. It's pretty... sad, actually.

"I'm the most music talented and experienced and everything player in the entire dancing game community"

Come on dude, get over yourself.

Try your luck on AIJ see what they think. Heck, I may be wrong ;)

I knew you had this kinda weird personality where sometimes you claim to be the best and say you don't care about anyone, but I had no idea you were going to go this far. You're the most touchy person I've ever met. I give you a mere little constructive review and you come back with this huge wall raging about how talented you are and how it makes the chart good.

Simon... you call that "mere little constructive criticism" when you pretty much made it sound like it was one of the worst chart ever made. If someone said something like this about one of your chart, you'd be swearing and insulting them in a heartbeat. If you truly want to give constructive criticism, you should really work on how you phrase it...

Thumbs up for Steven who responded in a non aggressive way. That's something Simon would need to learn how to do :P

However, the resume + statement about being the most talented/music knowledgeable on RG was unnecessary/false for 2 reasons.

1- Even good stepchart artists make bad charts every once in a while, so the resume proves nothing.
2- You might be surprised by some people on RG. Pickles and BoxX come to mind. Not that this is a competition or anything, but I'm just saying.

What? Screw yourself man. Wow. Yes it was constructive criticism. I took 10 minutes of my own time to suggest improvement points. I would blast somebody who would post that for one of my charts? Not in a million years. Sure, I may get offended, but I wouldn't post a wall of text stating that I'm the most talented person in the community and that my charts are so good that they dont need criticism! Give me a damn break here.

I think the point here is that, yes your criticism could be used constructively, however it sounded a lot more offensive than constructive.

Also, I didn't say you would post anything of the sort. I meant that you would get offended, which you acknowledged, and even went a step further by saying you would be up replying aggressively, which you usually do when you are offended, hence your "Screw yourself man".

Yeah, I know I could've left out half my post. I still don't think it was as bad as you depainted it, though.

Man I gota agree with Simon. This chart is really wrong in so many ways. Even if I don't get in to the rhythms and flow of the chart, just the orientation of the chart is really bad. Pretty much all the crossovers either don't work or are forced spins and they just make for bad double steps everywhere. And just as a side note, you're not the only step artist who has musical knowledge. I have taken musical theory at Mcgill University for a year and a half and studied music in general about 10 years prior to that and you don't see me mouthing off about how godly I am. That knowledge has very little to do with stepfile creation. The only thing that musical knowledge might help you with is knowing how to choreograph your steps with better pitch relevance, which wasn't even present in the file! I think you should try Simon's idea and post this in on AIJ and see what people think.

I'm not even asking for critique on this file. I played it 10+ times on pad both times i went to play itg and i wanna play it AGAIN RIGHT NOWWWWWWW.

Oh and I agree that you guys have musical knowledge and what not and not to offend anyone but I feel as if I'm on a whole new level of simfile creations, i think about things when making a stepchart that most people don't even realize you can think about when making a stepchart. Btw there are 0 crossovers in this song.

See and you owned yourself - xynn- for saying "That knowledge has very little to do with stepfile creation." I was dead serious when i said that i think about things when making a stepchart that most people don't even realize you can think about when making a stepchart.

I simply don't care if you want to reply by saying how it's not a good file. I haven't had so much fun playing a chart in a long time and if you haven't played the song on pad.....then wow all comments are irrelevant. And you need to play it on pad.....like now.......Go!

i guess ill respond to this too cause i like it.

1- Even good stepchart artists make bad charts every once in a while, so the resume proves nothing.
2- You might be surprised by some people on RG. Pickles and BoxX come to mind. Not that this is a competition or anything, but I'm just saying.

yea i make bad stepcharts, i know. This is not one of them.
actually i know of these people and they actually weren't the first people i thought of when i imagined overall musical talent. Hence the word OVERALL.

hahahahahahaha. Dude, it doesn't matter if you're "on a whole new level" there by yourself with the gods and whatnot. If nobody likes the chart, what does it matter how you made it, with what knowledge and whatever? Look at Church for example. It took me what, 20 minutes to make that chart? How popular is it? I've put more work into songs like Pacman remix and stuff and no they're not popular and no they aren't really fun.

I'm glad you enjoy your own simfile, but I think it'll be limited to that.

so what kind of level are you on now? and what kinds of things are you thinking about when charting stuff? because you've gone downhill it seems.

I didn't want to reply until I padded this. I just came home from padding it, and I quit halfway not even wanting to finish. that's saying something considering I love this song lol.

don't take it in the wrong Steve, you know I'm a huge fan of your stuff. but recently, I'm not liking this "new level" you've reached as a stepchart artist.
