I didn't attack, I was looking for what he had to say about it. I'm not the one that said those things.

Also, are you coming to the tournament, Tony?

I might see you there today then!

I'm very interested in meeting you guys! Maybe someone can help me get out of my rut.. I can't seem to score anything but 99.8x (on 9s anyways)

I swear the South Keys machine gives you an excellent if you have a blue combo no matter what
~ I really don't think that stepchart should be a 12 footer... I can see it being a REALLY easy 10.. or a custom 16.. but definitely not a legitimate 12 ~

Nah. I have to work that day and I have no way of getting getting out there on that day. Plus I got my birthday tomorrow and got a shit load of stuff happening this weekend so I won't have the energy in the slightest bit. It's cool though, I'm still planning on running my "The Passing" Tourney.

I went to South Keys today to see that the arcade looks way different. They moved around the games, got rid of a few and made it smaller. Kinda roomy... I like it.

I'd assume you're the 'Ven' screenname then? x)

98 on summer is pretty badass!

Tony is the one that played at South keys before, so chances are he has most of the records on that machine.

He has better than 98 on summer though -_-

I assumed lol but for a lowly ITG n00b such as myself, 98 on Summer is good lol

I actually got the 98 just today. And ya, I'm starting to use Ven more regularley now. It's unfortunate the machine got erased though, it was pretty pro machine, there must have been at least 30 Expert quad stars on it. It's ok though, now we can start fresh. Incognito was the first new quad star on that machine, which I pulled off in socks amazingly :P .

I am gonna start playing more at South Keys. I dont get to Midway nearly enough.

Yep, and I'm never going to get any quads there. It just wont happen. Got a bunch of 99.9x today.. well, like 3.. but definitely no quads.

Fml.

Simon: I apologise for the word "overloaded" - it wasn't the best word to convey what I meant, which was the intense lag that happened soon after the machine was upgraded, but which has obviously been fixed since. Did the actual cause(s) ever been found for that?

csikira, welcome to Ottawa. The change in South Keys' arcade layout might well mean that a new batch of managers have arrived (fairly possible since turnaround for is rather high in a 2-year period, I've heard). As before, time will tell how much they allow high-level players to play without buying a cinema ticket... From experience, we know not to trust even a single manager's word that "it's all OK" because the next shift manager can kick us out if they want. If it happens, just nod and leave, doing a fuss is not worth it in the long run.

Yes the actual cause was found a long time ago. When they let me open it up to check the hardware, the graphic card fan wasn't running at all. I turned it back on and no issues since.

There coudl be new management, I know that they're building a 'party room' or something.. that's what the sign says anyways.

So far I've played the last couple days for an hour or two and havent had any problems, however, I have heard of players being kicked out if they don't have a cinema ticket, so you're right.. time will tell lol
